Friends, when do you think our pancreas starts to malfunction? I believe that most of you answered correctly: after the holiday season. I don’t think I need to explain why.

While most holidays are in the summer and two months of autumn, now is the time to “resuscitate” our gland.

It’s very important to remember that when the gland is inflamed, it needs hunger, cold and rest. But after a few days of fasting and pain relief, you can try to prepare a wonderful folk recipe.

To do this, take 2 litres of water, rinse a glass of millet and add it to boiling water. Cook until you get a mashed porridge, then add 300 g of grated pumpkin and cook until the consistency of mashed potatoes. You can also blend it in a blender.

Do not add salt or sugar, only a small amount of oil is allowed. This puree can be used instead of dinner for 3 weeks, while maintaining a normal diet during the day.

In this way, you will take care of your pancreas, and it will thank you.
